It is a good NIT and very good for Mechanical Engineering Branch. The placement s here are good and the students are collaborative and helpful, most of the professors are focused on student's understanding in the concepts rather than just completing the syllabus.

Campus Facilities: There are a lot of facilities, every department has its own needs and all of them are full filled. Even if you want some changes they listen to you, yeah it takes time but changes are made according to the need.

Campus Life: Campus life is really good , there are strictness for girls, i.e. they need to get in their hostel before 10 PM and boys cant go to girls hostel or vice versa but yeah greenery is there in the campus with gym facilities.

Faculty: Some of the faculties are strict and their main focus is discipline otherwise they are helpful and make sure that there are no doubts left while learning a new concept.

Placements: Very less companies come for Internships but yes a good number of companies come for hiring students during the placement season. The average package is selected above and highest package range between 50LPA to 64 LPA
