The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national-level postgraduate entrance exam conducted annually by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) for admission to MBA and PGDM programs across its 16–17 constituent institutes and several affiliated colleges in India. The exam is recognized for its speed-based format, challenging candidates to answer 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes across three sections: General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
SNAP is held in computer-based mode in December, typically across three sessions, allowing candidates to appear in up to all three attempts, with the best score considered for admission. The test is conducted in over 80 cities nationwide and is open to graduates from any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
The application process is fully online, and candidates must also register separately for their preferred MBA programs. After clearing SNAP, shortlisted candidates undergo further selection rounds, including Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT), at the respective Symbiosis institutes.
