MGCGV Chitrakoot offers a peaceful and green campus, ideal for focused studies. The faculty is helpful and experienced, especially in fields like rural development and agriculture. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped, and the library is great for research. However, placements are average and more focused on agriculture and technical fields. Hostel life is simple but manageable. If you're looking for a calm, academic atmosphere away from city distractions, this college is a good fit. My advice: Be proactive, make use of every opportunity, and focus on skill-building beyond the syllabus.

Campus Facilities: The campus has basic but sufficient facilities. Classrooms are spacious with projectors and fans, and the library is well-stocked with useful books and study material. Labs are functional, especially in science and agriculture departments. Hostel facilities are decent and mess food is average. There's a bank and ATM on campus which helps, but Wi-Fi is limited and could be improved. The environment is clean and peaceful, making it good for focused study, but modern amenities are limited.

Campus Life: Campus life is simple and peaceful. The best event is Gramodaya Mahotsav, which brings energy to the whole campus. It includes cultural performances, debates, and student competitions, giving a chance to show talent and interact with students from other departments. While there aren’t many frequent events, this one is well-organized and creates great memories. Outside of events, daily life is calm, with some student groups and friendly bonding among hostel mates.

Faculty: The faculty at MGCGV is knowledgeable and supportive. Most professors are highly qualified, with PhDs and good academic backgrounds. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. My favorite faculty member is always ready to help beyond the classroom, and their teaching style is very engaging. However, industry exposure is limited, and more guest lectures or industry visits would be helpful. Still, for academic guidance, the faculty is dependable and experienced.

Placements: MGCGV offers decent placement opportunities, mainly for agriculture, rural development, and technical courses. Around 50–60% of eligible students get placed through campus drives. Some known companies and organizations like NABARD-supported NGOs, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, and rural tech startups visit the campus. The average salary package ranges from ?2.5–3.5 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?7 LPA depending on the course and skills. Internships are encouraged but mostly self-arranged. If students are proactive, they can build good career foundations through this college.
